This notice covers the website punchtowntales.com and its playtest waitlist. The game itself has its own Privacy Policy, which you will see before you play.

The controller of your data is PUNCHTOWN TALES ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

• Your email address, only if you type it into the waitlist box and press Join. We store it with the date you joined. Nothing else.
• Technical data our host handles to deliver the site. Cloudflare, which hosts this website, processes your IP address and browser details to serve the pages and protect them from attacks. We do not store this data ourselves.

We use no cookies, no analytics, no trackers and no ads. The fonts, scripts and videos all come from this website, not from other companies.

Why, and on what basis

We use your email address to send you a playtest key and news about the game's launch. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art 6(1)(a)), which you give by joining. You can withdraw it at any time, and we will remove your address.

Who handles it

• Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and stores the waitlist, under its data processing terms. Data may be processed in the countries where Cloudflare runs its network, under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Our email provider delivers the emails we send you.

We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until the game launches, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. Every email we send has a way to unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to [email protected]. We answer within one month, and using your rights is free. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Age

The waitlist is for people aged 16 and over. If you are younger, please ask a parent or guardian to join for you.

Changes

If we change this notice, we update the version and date at the top.
